Alyssa and Junior are the first couple that I ever photographed. Alyssa was one of my regular baristas when I first bought a camera that I didn't know how to use, with a dream of creating a full time income with it. She eagerly agreed to let me use them as my first subjects. I went into that first session thinking that it would be the standard by which I decided whether or not I really had what it takes to pull off this dream. We hiked 10 miles from Mt. Hood, down into Zigzag canyon and up the river bed to a waterfall. And that was all she wrote.
So when I found out that my OG couple was growing a little one, I was over the moon excited to put them in fronf of my camera again.
In a full circle moment we found ourselves exploring in the desert with an incredible view of the mountains, documenting such an important chapter in their lives. What a joy it is to be able to walk alongside my clients as their families grow and their love story expands. It constantly blows me away when families invite me into the sacred moments.
This is all because of you guys. I wouldn't be able to live this dream without all of ya'll to point my camera at. I have nothing but gratitude for every person that have opened up their lives to allow me to be a part of such incredibly special moments. I still can't believe this is my job and I hope I never get used to it.
